Attending Fashion Week in Sydney is somewhat of a privilege – it definitely makes the hard work worth it. Being Melbourne based, it’s great to head up to Sydney and support the designers who constantly support me. Plus, watching the fashion set do what they do best always inspires me to do great work. Given this is my second year attending, and I was reporting for Chadstone – The Fashion Capital as their fashionable eyes on the ground during the shows, I wanted to make a statement in black and white. For those that know me best, monochrome is definitely my thing!
Heaven forbid I re-run pieces in my wardrobe, but I think you’ll agree, this Maticevski bustier is the exception to the rule. I wore the bustier to the launch of Myer’s Autumn/Winter collections in February (blog post here). With that said, the sign of a signature piece is when you can style it in different ways. For day three of Fashion Week, I styled my bustier with Maticevski’s new season ‘Title Tube skirt’, an All Saintsleather jacket I purchased in New York and rocked some Sass & bide sunglasses from Sunglass Connection. I think this is almost my favourite look to date!
