Celebrating the league’s best and fairest players of 2017, The Brownlow Medal is the AFL’s most prestigious annual event. When it came to red carpet arrivals however, all eyes were on the player’s leading ladies. This year I felt so grateful and privileged to have worked with a selection of stunning girls and insanely talented designers. Not to mention, doing so in an amazing Villa at Crown Towers. The team at Crown often become like a second family this time of year.
Styling the beautiful Belinda Sloane, Jessie Murphy, Jordan Ablett and Ruby Keddie, each look complimented their unique personal style. After weeks of prep and planning, I want to say a huge thank you to my entire team. One team, one dream!
Hosting the 2017 Brownlow Red Carpet, Belinda wore a custom gown designed by the incredible Sonia Cappellazzo. Hair and makeup was sleek and pared back, allowing her bold statement sleeve to do all the talking.
With her baby bump as the most perfect accessory, Jessie glowed in an intricately beaded Oglia-Loro Couture gown. Keeping hair pulled back, I wanted to emphasise the gorgeous open back detail and delicate fabric cascading off the shoulder.

Working with a neutral colour palette, the dramatic silhouette of Jordan’s J’Aton Couture gown was on full display. With a contrasting chiffon sleeve and subtle button placement, this incredible gown was all about the fine details.
Sleek and minimal, Ruby Keddie wore a custom Cappellazzo Couture gown to walk the carpet with her partner, Callan Ward. With an open back and plunging neckline, this striking look was perfectly paired with a statement earring.
